Grief has so many avenues to it, when we stop to consider how pervasive this emotion actually is in our lives. I cannot help but feel that if we were to become more conscious about this fact and give ourselves permission to attend to our emotions with greater diligence, we would empower ourselves in aspects of our lives where we find ourselves limited or debilitated in some fashion. Life presented me with a very clear example of this recently, and this time I was vigilant enough to notice it.
